Description

Midnight Eye: You seem to really like children. Kore-eda: I don't know if l like children in general, but 1 like the kids in the film [Nobody Knows] very much. [...] ! felt a great responsibility towards them, which made me want to show their personal emotions in the film. ! tried my best to get that across. [...] For this film my desire to understand these children was very strong, particularly their actions once they were left to their own devices.
